By downloading, installing, or using Sound Analyzer - dB Meter ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Sound Analyzer - dB Meter is a mobile application that measures ambient sound levels using your device's microphone. The App provides:
- Real-time decibel (dB) measurements
- Sound level history and statistics
- Visual graphs of sound levels over time
- Fun sound comparisons
3. Accuracy Disclaimer
Important: Sound Analyzer - dB Meter is designed for informational and educational purposes only. The App uses your device's built-in microphone, which is not a calibrated measurement instrument. Measurements may vary between devices and are not suitable for professional, legal, or compliance purposes.
For professional noise assessments, please use certified sound level meters. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of measurements.
4. In-App Purchases
Subscription Terms
- Pro Monthly subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews at the same price unless cancelled
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
Lifetime Purchase
- Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that provides permanent access to Pro features
- No recurring charges apply to lifetime purchases
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their refund policy.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not use the App to infringe on others' privacy
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Comply with all applicable local laws regarding noise measurement and recording
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Key points:
- Audio is processed on-device only
- No audio is recorded or transmitted
- Measurement data is stored locally on your device

7. Intellectual Property
The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Sound Analyzer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Measurements will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors will be corrected
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOUND ANALYZER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits or data
- Personal injury or property damage
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
- Any damages arising from reliance on measurements provided by the App
10. Health Disclaimer
While the App provides information about sound levels and hearing safety:
- It is not a medical device
- It should not be used as a substitute for professional hearing protection or medical advice
- Consult a healthcare professional for concerns about hearing health
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
